Privacy Policy
Rotoms is run by Paolo Domingo in the Philippines. This page says plainly what is collected and what is not.
What never reaches us
The tax calculator, payslip generator and invoice generator run entirely in your browser. Salaries, income figures, client names and computed results are never transmitted to our servers and never stored. Close the tab and they are gone. The invoice generator saves a draft in your own browser's local storage so you don't lose work; that stays on your device and you can clear it any time.
What we do collect
| Data | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Email and name | When you create an account to publish an invite | To send your live link and your private edit link, and to let you back in later |
| Invite content | As you build an invite | It is the product — names, date, venue, program, dress code and your message |
| Guest RSVPs | When a guest replies on a published invite | To show the host who is coming |
| Order records | When you pay | Receipts, refunds and accounting |
| Suggestions | When you use the suggestion button | To read and act on your feedback; email is optional |
| Email for "notify me" | Only if you enter it | One message when that tool launches |
Card details
We never see them. Payments are handled entirely by PayMongo, a licensed Philippine payment processor. You are redirected to their page to pay by QR Ph, and we receive only a confirmation that the payment succeeded, the amount, and a reference. Their privacy policy governs that step.
Who processes data for us
- Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of the site.
- Supabase — the database holding accounts, invites, RSVPs, orders and suggestions.
- PayMongo — payments.
- Resend — sending transactional email.
We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not run advertising or third-party tracking scripts.
Published invites are public
An invite you publish lives at a public but unlisted address — anyone with the link can open it, which is the point, since you share it with guests. Published invite pages carry a noindex instruction so search engines exclude them. Do not put anything on an invite you would not want a guest to forward.
Your edit link is different: it is a private key to your invite and its RSVP list. Anyone holding it can edit your invite, so don't forward it.
How long it is kept
- Invites and RSVPs — until the plan's hosting window ends (6 months, 18 months or 3 years after the event), then removable on request.
- Order records — retained for accounting and tax purposes.
- Drafts never published — deleted on request; otherwise cleared periodically.
Your choices
Email hello@rotoms.com to get a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. If you ask for deletion of a published invite, it comes down and its RSVPs go with it. We will confirm when it is done.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and anyone with an active invite is emailed.
